Utilizing the traditional Japanese kiribame technique, the patchwork design features geometric cuts, expressing a fusion of Japanese and modern styles. The bamboo motif is created by dyeing three identical pieces of fabric and reassembling them into one, creating a deep expression. Crafted from silk, the delicate gradations created by hand-dyeing create soft shadows. A new textile art that weaves together traditional techniques and modern cutting.
